Wednesday, November 5, 2025 – ClearPath announced Ashley Higgins, former Deputy Legislative Director and Energy Policy Advisor for Sen. Dave McCormick (R-PA), has joined its team as a Government Affairs Director.
“Ashley is a seasoned House and Senate professional, having worked for multiple Members of Congress who champion clean energy, which will make her an asset to advancing clean energy innovation and our mission,” said Chris Tomassi, Head of Government Affairs, ClearPath. “Her experience will add important expertise to the government affairs team and we are excited to welcome her to ClearPath.”
In her role, Higgins will educate members and staff in the Senate to ensure they have the tools to advance American energy innovation.
Before joining ClearPath, Higgins served as the Deputy Legislative Director and Energy Policy Advisor for Senator Dave McCormick (R-PA), leading his Energy and Natural Resources Committee work.
Ashley has almost a decade of experience on Capitol Hill in both the House and the Senate. She previously worked as Energy Policy Advisor for Senator James Lankford (R-OK), Policy Advisor for the Congressional Western Caucus under Chairman Dan Newhouse (R-WA) and started her career with former Senator Cory Gardner (R-CO). Ashley was previously a congressional fellow as part of ClearPath’s Conservative Leadership Program.
