ClearPath Head of Policy to serve on EXIM Advisory Committee

Tuesday, March 3, 2026 – The Export-Import Bank of the United States (EXIM) appointed ClearPath’s Head of Policy, Lisa Epifani, to its 2026-2027 Advisory Committee.

In this role, Epifani will advise the Bank on opportunities to increase American manufacturing, bolster energy security and allow the U.S. to better compete globally. The appointment comes as EXIM advances its 2026 Strategic Priorities, aimed at sharpening the Bank’s approach and strengthening its impact on revitalizing American industry.

“Lisa’s 20-plus years of extensive experience at the intersection of energy policy and commercialization makes her an important voice for this committee,” said Jeremy Harrell, CEO of ClearPath. “Her leadership will help ensure that energy innovations are not only developed here at home but are positioned to dominate the global marketplace. We are proud to have her representing ClearPath’s mission in this capacity.”

“This is an important year for EXIM with the upcoming reauthorization, and I am excited to be a part of such an important committee, driving to make the U.S. a global energy leader,” said Epifani.

Before joining ClearPath, Epifani served in various positions in the public and private sector. She served as an Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Energy under President George W. Bush. She also served as a Special Assistant on the National Economic Council at the Bush White House and as Counsel on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee under then-Chair Pete Domenici (R-NM). In addition to working at Google, Epifani led Chevron’s Legislative and Regulatory Affairs team and worked with Chevron’s investors on clean energy issues. She was also a partner at Van Ness Feldman, an energy law firm in D.C.

Epifani holds a Juris Doctor from the Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.

Epifani’s appointment continues a legacy of ClearPath leadership within the Bank’s advisory structure; former ClearPath CEO Rich Powell previously served on the Advisory Committee from 2019 to 2021.
