Chris Tomassi leads the government affairs team at ClearPath, working on our outreach and educational priorities with the House, Senate, and Administration. Chris educates members and staff on the tools they need to advance innovative policies that will ensure the nation has clean, reliable, and affordable energy. He also interfaces with industry partners to ensure that ClearPath’s efforts will accelerate breakthrough technology innovations.
Chris is a veteran of the United States Senate, where he established himself as a leader in energy and environmental policy. He worked on the Senate Appropriations Committee, where he served as the primary staffer focused on the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
Before joining the Appropriations Committee, he was Senior Counsel and Professional Staff Member on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee under two chairmen, and handled energy, environment, budget, and energy tax issues for former Senator Mike Enzi (R-WY).
