Currently a founding partner of Firehouse Strategies, Terry Sullivan has two decades under his belt as a well-seasoned political and public affairs strategist. He has played a senior strategic role in more than 100 campaigns, including over two dozen U.S. Senate, gubernatorial and presidential candidacies.
That includes playing a key role in helping Sens. Marco Rubio and Ron Johnson achieve come-from-behind reelection wins in 2016. Sullivan was also Campaign Manager for Sen. Rubio’s 2016 presidential campaign, overseeing a $50 million effort involving more than 100 staff around the country.
Before becoming a full-time senior advisor to Sen. Rubio, Sullivan was a founder and managing partner of one of the premier political consulting and public affairs firms in the Southeast. He also built award-winning national direct mail and digital communications firms. Among others he has advised include Sens. Jesse Helms and Jim DeMint, Gov. Mitt Romney and Rep. Trey Gowdy.
Sullivan currently lives in Washington, D.C. with his daughter McKenna and is an adjunct professor at George Washington University.
