ClearPath’s Conservative Leadership Program is not your average fellowship. We know your hands are full, so we do our due diligence making sure we are only offering the best candidates to join your office as a fellow. All of our fellows are motivated, talented, and eager to help. Think of them as an office Swiss Army Knife - they can answer constituent phone calls one minute and then write policy background for a committee hearing the next.

One-Year Placement

Fellows serve as cross-functional team members for the duration of their fellowship.

Host Office Role

The host office provides supervision and determines how the fellow’s time and skills are allocated. You determine what you need out of a ClearPath Fellow - think of them as utility players who can work across teams.

Fully Funded

ClearPath fully covers the fellow’s salary and benefits including comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance and retirement savings matching.

Highly Vetted

Fellows undergo a thorough interview process and reference checks.

What does the host office need to provide for the fellow?

The host office is responsible for onboarding the fellow, including providing:

Office access and security badge
Technology and office equipment
Email and internal system access
Workspace allocation

Is there any cost to the host office?

No, the fellow is a full-time employee of ClearPath and their salary and benefits are paid through our normal payroll processes.

What kind of work can our office assign to a fellow?

Fellows take on a variety of tasks, including policy research, briefing preparation, constituent communications, and committee support. Their specific responsibilities depend on the needs of the host office.

How are the fellowship candidates vetted?

All ClearPath Fellowship candidates go through a thorough vetting process, including:

In-depth interviews to assess skills, experience, and policy knowledge.
Reference checks with previous employers or academic supervisors.
Evaluation of qualifications to ensure alignment with the needs of Congressional offices.
Pre-employment assessment to measure an individual's personality and cognitive skills that predict future job performance.

Note: Host offices will have the opportunity to interview candidates to ensure they are a good fit for your team.
