Power, Infrastructure, and Critical Minerals Team adds Advisor
Washington, DC – Friday, January 31, 2025 – ClearPath announced Samantha Edwards, former Congressional legislative aid, has joined its team as a policy advisor.
“Samantha’s experience in policy, public relations, and on Capitol Hill makes her a great fit for our dynamic, cross-team work here at ClearPath,” said Cheryl Lombard, Senior Program Director of Power, Infrastructure, and Minerals. “Her work on power, infrastructure, and critical minerals adds expertise to our already well-versed program and will help us to drive on extending depth in our portfolio.”
In this role, she will support the power, infrastructure, and critical mineral program. Edwards will work on policy solutions that support clean energy and minerals project development, streamline permitting, and strengthen domestic critical mineral production.
Before joining ClearPath, Edwarads worked as a legislative aide for Senator Kyrsten Sinema handling the energy, environment, and natural resources portfolio where she engaged in bipartisan efforts to pass legislation that supported clean energy development in the West. She previously worked as a staff assistant and correspondence coordinator for Senator Mike Lee and interned for Senator Mitt Romney.
Edwards holds a Bachelor of Public Relations Arts from Brigham Young University.
