Biography

Rafae Ghani is a Policy Advisor for Industrial Decarbonization at ClearPath. As part of ClearPath’s focus on making America the leader in clean industrial technology, Rafae works on policies to advance technology development to reduce industrial emissions in critical and difficult-to-decarbonize sectors such as cement, concrete, asphalt, and steel.

Prior to ClearPath, Rafae was an Operations Associate at Columbia’s Center on Global Energy Policy, where he helped stand up the Carbontech Development Initiative (CDI), a large-scale market transformation grant-seeding and commercialization initiative for carbontech science and technology. Prior to CDI, Rafae was a Managing Consultant for Growth & Market Development at IBM.

Education

B.A. in Economics-Political Science from Columbia University and Master of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University’s School of International & Public Affairs
