Colleen K. Moss is a Managing Director of Industrial Policy and Advocacy at ClearPath. Since joining ClearPath in 2020, Moss spearheaded the advancement of federal policies that strengthen the competitiveness of American manufacturing through innovation to reduce emissions in steelmaking. She educates Congress on advancing the deployment of clean energy technologies, specifically focusing on nuclear and tax policies. Moss works across the eNGO and industrial community to further climate ambition. She joined ClearPath from Duke Energy where she worked to advance federal policy priorities to help deliver a cleaner energy future. Moss has focused on a host of issues including tax, energy, environment and labor. While at Duke, Moss served on the Nuclear Matters Steering Committee and the EEI PowerPAC Board. Prior to Duke, she handled tax and banking issues at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). Moss came to D.C. in 2012 to serve her home state of Missouri in Senator Blunt’s Washington D.C. office where she advised the Senator on tax, banking and budget issues during Fiscal Cliff, shutdown and Debt Limit votes. Moss serves on the board of the United Coalition for Advanced Nuclear Power (UCAN Power) who advocates policies to accelerate the development and use of advanced nuclear reactors. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the Women’s Energy Resource Council (WERC) as Vice President. WERC is a DC-based nonprofit that promotes the exchange of ideas and perspectives on energy policy among women energy professionals from both the public and private sector.
