Biography

Cheryl is the Senior Program Director for Regulatory Policy and Advocacy, with a focus on permitting. Cheryl was most recently the President and CEO of Valley Partnership, a trade association advocating for responsible development, in Arizona. There she was recognized as the Arizona Capitol Times Public Policy Leader of the Year for Trade Associations in 2022.

Previously, Cheryl was the Government Relations Director for The Nature Conservancy in Arizona. While with the Conservancy, she also served as the Co-Chair of Arizona Governor Doug Ducey’s Transition Committee on State Lands and as a Member of Arizona Governor Jan Brewer’s Transition Team.

Before moving to Arizona, she was a senior associate attorney with the political and election law firm of Bell, McAndrews & Hiltachk in California.

In addition, Cheryl served on the staff for Congressman Howard P. “Buck” McKeon (R-CA-25) and Congressman Cliff Stearns (R-FL-06) in both District and Washington, DC offices.
