Phil Musser is the President of New Frontier Strategy, a strategic communication and public relations firm founded in 2007.
Phil recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for the Boeing Company, overseeing all elements of the communication and brand portfolio for this Fortune 25 company. He also served as a member of the company’s Executive Committee.
Prior to his role at Boeing, Phil was Chairman and CEO of IMGE a cutting edge, full service digital media agency that works for Fortune 500 companies, major associations, and public policy issues.
He also served as Executive Director of the Republican Governor’s Association, and the Senior Vice President of Dutko Worldwide, a top public policy management firm.
From 2001 through 2004, Phil was Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Policy Advisor of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. At HUD, Phil managed the development of public policy, a thirty billion dollar budget and served as a key liaison to the White House. He also served as a deputy director of the 2004 G-8 Summit in Sea Island for the U.S. Department of State.
Phil is also an analyst on the political process and he has been quoted in the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Politico, National Journal and dozens of local publications. He has appeared as an analyst on Fox News, CNBC, CNN, MSNBC and nationally broadcast shows like “Face The Nation” and “Squawk Box”.
Phil is a member of the Washington DC Chapter of Young President’s Association (YPO), and several civic and philanthropic associations in the Washington, DC area.
He resides in Alexandria, VA, with his wife Heather and two daughters.
